Transfer Visit Days

Use the calendar below to select a visit date and register. During your visit, you will have a one-on-one meeting with a transfer counselor followed by a campus tour. If you have any questions about our visits, contact us at visit@uwec.edu or 715-836-5415.

UW-Eau Claire Campus Visit Restrictions in Response to COVID-19

    • BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 1: At check-in, Admissions staff will record the temperature of each member in your group and will ask specific questions regarding symptoms you may be experiencing and contact you may have had with individuals or groups that may have exposed you to COVID-19. If any member of your group answers the questions affirmatively or has a temperature of 100 degrees or higher, you will not be able to participate in the campus visit and will be asked to reschedule.
    • Please do not attend your visit if you or anyone in your household is ill or experiencing any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, unexplained muscle aches, chills or repeated shaking, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.
    • All attendees, tour guides, and staff members are required to wear masks throughout the campus visit, and social distancing will be enforced. If you do not have a mask, we will provide one for you.
    • The total group size of this visit will be limited in accordance with restrictions provided by the Eau Claire County Health Department. In support of CDC recommendations for reduced travel, we encourage you, if possible, to limit the number of visitors in your group to those directly involved in your college decision-making process. Please be as accurate as possible when listing your number of guests in the form below. If your plans change and you need to bring more people than you are currently planning, contact us to ensure adding additional visitors would be in compliance with the maximum group size.
    • For the safety of our students, you will not be able to visit an actual dorm room during your campus tour. Instead, visitors on weekdays will be viewing a mock dorm room that will be set up in a common area of a residence hall (Towers Hall), and Saturday visitors will view a video tour of a residence hall.
    • Dining facilities in the Davies Student Center are open on weekdays but will primarily include only grab and go options. Dining facilities are closed to visitors on Saturdays.
    • The Campus Bookstore will be closed on Saturdays.
    • There may be buildings not available for entry outside of your guided tour.
